1.  Pre-trip:  Will be week of March 15. 

• Probably Tuesday, March 16.  Birch/Jensen/Roman
• Will fly into John Wayne Airport, but waiting to hear answers to many questions from Burt/Matthew.
• Will take Shana Rae.  Load mooring gear on Thursday, March 25 in Moss Landing, then drive ESP's down in van on 30th.  Load on ship on 31st.  Deploy April 1.
• Divers. Looking into using local divers.  Doug Conlin has contact with local UCLA group.  Brent also has some leads.
• Moorings:  Jims Scholfield should have them finished by March 17.  Training Paul C. while he makes these two.
• Foam blocks arrive March 29.  We will scavenge from exisiting E/M while these blocks are out being machined.  Will end with 3 'short' and 2 'longer' E/M cables.
• Batteries arrive March 10 and be assembled by March 17.
• Will need new anchor lines but need to verify depth

Other issues

A.  Betty and hand problem

• Betty is not deployable.  We cannot recreate the problem (presumed to be a short somewhere) to know where to test/what to replace. Vexing.  Will continue to exercise the hand, hoping that use will cause failure....

B.  Doug--update on DWSM

• Problem was that we weren't reliably able to see empty or squeeze, so we didn't know when to stop pumping.  We could change the code to look for a current increase in the pump, but that's kind of a hack.  Doug to test for another week, then power down to allow Scott access to battery box in order to cast a new one.
• Before that, Chris P. will clean Gordon Lines and remove reagents.

C.  Cheri--MFB build update

• MFB builds continue.  hope is to have all finished before she leaves for Mclane (March 15).  MFB distribution list is here.

D.  Next MFB training will be week of May 24.  Will distribute MFB's in June.
